About Dr Akbar S
Dr Akbar completed his post-graduation in 2014, following which he worked in a center specialized in minimally invasive surgeries in Chennai. For the last six years, Dr. Akbar has performed numerous laparoscopic surgeries including lap appendectomy, cholecystectomy, lap ventral and inguinal hernia repair, and lap fundoplications. He has done extensive training in anorectal work and is an expert in treating hemorrhoids, fissures, and fistula in ano. He was a faculty in a Minimally invasive surgical training institute(MISTI), where he has trained many surgeons in laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Akbar has presented in many national and international conferences and has more than 25 research papers and publications to his name.
