Dr. S. Habeeb Ahmed Abdul Kaiyoom, is a physician with rich experience post MD, having completed MBBS from Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), India, MD General Medicine from Bharath University, Chennai, India. He has worked in some of the top hospitals in Chennai, having trained under some of the best physicians. In 2019, he underwent hands on training in Critical Care Medicine, completing Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM), a very rigorous & thorough 1 year training program, from one of the best intensive care units in the country, the prestigious Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. He is adept at handling all medical emergencies, complex critical care cases, having worked in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Apollo for a period of 2 years. He is trained in handling the ventilator, trained in hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management, skilled in both emergency & elective intubations, central line/hemodialysis line placements. He also has vast experience in treating chronic medical illnesses like Diabetes, hypertension, Dyslipidemia, Endocrinological Illnesses, Acute Infectious Diseases Including Sepsis/Septic Shock. With added training in Critical Care Medicine/Acute Medicine and experience in ICU, he is equipped to manage & treat all complications & emergencies, and prevent them from happening. He is a very soft spoken, compassionate doctor, who practices his craft with the utmost sincerity & dedication.
