About DR Deepak Damodaran

A physician with more than a decade of experience at some of the top medical institutes of India. He completed his MBBS training at Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry in 2006. He subsequently was trained at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi achieving his MD in Internal Medicine in 2011. He was then appointed senior Resident Physician at AIIMS, New Delhi for 3 years Following this, he has almost a decade of experience working at both medical colleges and private medical sector hospitals in India.

He is adept in out-patient, in-patient and ICU management of patients. He has extensive experience in respiratory and infectious diseases including COVID-19 and life style diseases like diabetes, obesity and hypertension management. He has a keen interest in geriatric care with preventive and comprehensive geriatrics. He is currently conducting a clinical study in geriatric patients towards completion of a Post Graduate Diploma in Geriatric from the Christian Medical College, Vellore.
